With profound sadness, we celebrate the life of Michael Anthony “Mikey” Silva, who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 39. His passing has left a deep emptiness among his family and friends, though his memory endures through the love and kindness he shared throughout his life.
Born on April 3, 1987, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Mikey was the cherished son of the late Michael Silva and Cheryl Begley. Raised in Lowell, he attended Lowell High School and remained closely connected to the community he proudly called home. He was widely known for his warm personality, compassionate nature, and ability to make others feel valued and welcome.
Mikey was a naturally generous and approachable individual who formed meaningful and lasting relationships with ease. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his friendships were grounded in loyalty and sincerity. He especially treasured his time with family, finding his greatest happiness in shared moments, celebrations, and everyday life.
Family meant everything to Mikey. He shared a particularly close bond with his mother and beloved Nana, and he consistently demonstrated unwavering love and devotion to those closest to him. His encouragement and support during both joyful and difficult times left a lasting imprint on his loved ones.
Professionally, Mikey worked in the food service industry, where his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor made him well respected among colleagues and customers alike. Outside of work, he enjoyed bowling and found joy in music, which remained a constant source of comfort and expression throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving mother Cheryl Begley; his brothers Nicholas Silva and Ryan Silva; extended family members; and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Silva, and his grandfather, Larry Begley.
A visitation will be held on June 23, 2026, followed by a service of remembrance, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life.
Mikey will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the deep love he shared with others. Though gone too soon, his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
